Tyre major Michelin which will become the official tyre in the MotoGPTM World Championship from 2016, has launched six new hypersport and track tyres for four distinct types of use.
All these tyres were developed in motorsport and all benefit from Michelin’s Total Performance philosophy. The tyres include the Michelin Power SuperMoto & SuperMoto Rain, the Power SuperSport Evo, Power Cup Evo and Power Slick Evo.
The Power SuperMoto range is the fruit of Michelin’s Supermotard World Championship success in 2014 and was developed in close collaboration with the discipline’s top riders.
The Power SuperSport Evo combines high levels of circuit performance, along with grip on dry and wet surfaces, along with greater manoeuvrability, thereby offering true 50/50 road and track performance.
The Power Cup Evo is a road-legal tyre designed for track day and circuit use which allows riders to travel to the circuit on their bike and then ride on track. The Power Slick Evo is the slick version of the Power Cup Evo and is not approved for road use.
